Digital Banking Terms & Conditions
Eligibility & Account Setup
To open a digital account with Volcano Bank, individuals and businesses must successfully complete our client onboarding process, which includes Know Your Customer (KYC) checks and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance procedures.
Eligibility requires submission of accurate and verifiable information, including identity documents, residency details, and in some cases, proof of source of funds.
Once eligibility is confirmed, clients may proceed with account setup by creating secure login credentials and enabling multi-factor authentication.
These terms also define the responsibilities of account holders, such as maintaining the confidentiality of their login information and notifying the bank immediately of any suspected fraud. Volcano Bank reserves the right to decline or terminate accounts if compliance obligations are not met.
Authentication (passkey + security key)
To access your Volcano Bank account, you'll use a secure login process designed for maximum protection.
Authentication includes:
- Passkey (your device-based authentication such as Face ID, Touch ID, or PIN)
- Security Key (a physical key, such as YubiKey, for additional protection)
We strongly recommend enabling both for layered security.
Volcano Bank will never ask you to share your credentials or security key. Always verify you're on the official website before signing in.
Collateralized Credit Facilities
When you open a collateralized credit facility, your Bitcoin or other approved assets are securely held in a segregated account as collateral.
Your borrowing limit and terms depend on the value and stability of your pledged assets.
You are responsible for maintaining sufficient collateral at all times.
Volcano Bank reserves the right to issue margin calls or liquidate collateral if required by contract terms.
Withdrawals & Transfers
All withdrawals and transfers must be requested through your bank manager or approved platform channels.
Volcano Bank verifies every transaction to prevent unauthorized activity.
Processing times may vary based on network conditions and regulatory requirements.
You will receive confirmation once your request has been reviewed and executed.
Fees, Commissions & Limits
Volcano Bank applies transparent fees for services such as loan origination, custody, and transaction handling.
Fee schedules and limits are provided in your account dashboard and updated periodically.
No hidden charges apply.
Please review the latest fee table before initiating a transaction or credit facility.
